It is with great sadness that we today announce the closure of Real Good Smokehouse.
After great consideration, we made the difficult decision to permanently close our doors as we have concluded that it is no longer economically sustainable to continue to operate this great establishment, and that it is time to shift our focus to family and new projects in and around the food space.
Despite today’s announcement and the closing of this chapter, we are extremely proud of all that we have achieved, and the community that has been built around Real Good Smokehouse.
We would like to thank our staff, past and present, for being such an integral part of our business and for helping us to provide so many wonderful experiences to our guests over the last year. Your efforts and dedication have never gone unnoticed, so we extend our utmost gratitude for your commitment to our brand and our family’s vision of our restaurant.
We want to say thank you to everyone who has dined with us, whether you’re a regular or found us once as you were passing through Chattanooga. We are grateful for your continued support and loyalty. You are the direct reason for our success as we are truly humbled and honored to have served you.
We also wish to thank our friends within local news media, as well as those who have partnered with us on photography and copy, equipment, recipes, utilities, and merchandise – we are forever grateful to you all.
