Our front window coffee shrub bloomed a couple months ago and now we have tons of coffee cherries growing. Pretty neat, the shrub is like 6yrs old and came to us last fall from a dear friend who thought it would pair nicely with our shop. It likes its new home apparently.

This slightly dark roast comes from the volcanic highlands of Bondowoso, East Java near the legendary Mount Ijen, home of the world-famous “Blue Fire” phenomenon. Grown in rich volcanic soil and carefully triple picked for top-tier quality, this coffee delivers a bold yet refined cup with deep character and smooth balance.

Same incredible blend. Same great cause. New year to make an even bigger impact.

We’re proud to bring back our Community Hero Blend in support of the Callands Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department. This medium roast—with its smooth body and notes of chocolate and nuts—quickly became a favorite, and we’re excited to launch it again for 2026.

Just like before, $10 from every bag sold goes directly to support the department and the volunteers who serve and protect our community. Every purchase helps provide the resources they need to continue showing up when it matters most.

The fundraiser is underway, and we can’t wait to see what we accomplish together this year. Whether you supported it before or you’re grabbing your first bag, this is your chance to enjoy a great cup of coffee that gives back.
