Wyatt’s Superfine and Leluia Hall have received their historical designation plaques! 🙏 We as a team have so enjoyed all of our adaptive reuse projects, and we’re so proud to have two of our buildings (right next to each other!) recognized as historic landmarks. Thank you, Mecklenburg County, NC!

🙋🏼‍♀️ What’s that cement box? You’re looking at the elevator shaft on the second floor of our building. What’s crazy is that about every 4-5 rows, the team has to stop for an inspection. Once approved, they continue on up.

The elevator shaft has one more floor to go!

Happy Friday y’all!! It really is a happy day for me because I got to meet w our fabric designers for some of the upholstery here at - and voila our vision is coming to life!

🛒 I wanted to pull in fabric textures in some unique ways here because this is an old 1903 grocery store that served a textile mill village.

👗We’re using inspiration from early 1900s fabric designs (around when this building was built!)

🚘 We’ve been working on this vision and unique combination of materials for a few months - including a lovely trip up to -a NC manufacturer - to see how we can pull all this together! 🙌

The Valdese team is working on tweaks to these first samples but I’m just 🤩🤩🤩
