Myah is participating in the 2023-2024 UCAC of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Cotillion. The Cotillion debutants are a group HS teens; selection based upon academia, character & community impact, with aspirations to attend a four year college and or university.
Myah is a Junior at Myers Park HS and a member of the National Honor Society, Executive Board Member of Black Student Union, Jr. Rep. of Student Government, MP Softball and a host of other clubs. She plans to major in Marketing Design.

Wednesday, February 1st, FIFTEEN of the city's BEST spoken word poets will pay homage to Charlotte's Black Neighborhoods, Black People, and events that have shaped its rich cultural history at Black Charlotte: A Poetic Celebration of Place & Folk.

Inspired by Community Historian Pamela Grundy's latest book "Legacy: Three Centuries of Black History in Charlotte, North Carolina" that shares stories of many generations of Charlotte’s African American communities. Find the links to Legacy and Black Charlotte in our bio.
