It’s always fun to work with a client who wants to push the limits of a design and do something unique. This client has a love for art and ceramics and with her appreciation for the creative, had a vision of what she wanted the space to be. This earthy, organic room became a piece of art on its own.

If you thought we went moody with some of our other recent bathrooms - this one is for sure the moodiest of them all! This is in the same house as the green Limewash bathroom, but offers an earthy, metallic feel to contrast with the fresh, green tones we used there.

We planned this shower carefully - including all of the trim details and dimensions. But beyond that - it has a little secret. The client is a plant mom (as she should be) and she has a little window nook behind the shower wall. I want every client to feel like their space is made and designed with them in mind. And you know I don’t like to waste space. So when I saw that she had some plants placed on stands around the window, I decided we needed a custom shelf to give all of those plant babies (and I guess some towels too) a special home. This is the reason I work in design. Because while it’s fun and fulfilling to create pretty spaces, the thing that gives the work real value is YOU. Knowing that families are building lifelong memories and traditions in the spaces we created together is truly priceless. And making spaces that work for you helps you to focus on what is most important in your life. Thank you to everyone who trusts me with their home. It really means so much to me. ❤️
