After six incredible years, we’ve made the decision not to renew our lease at Optimist Hall. Our final day of service will be June 30.
When we joined Optimist Hall in 2020, it was our first venture beyond the bakery and our first experience operating a restaurant. We learned a tremendous amount, served countless guests, and built a team and community that we’re incredibly proud of. What started as an experiment became an important part of the Suárez Bakery story.
This decision was not made lightly, but it is a positive one. As our Park Road bakery has continued to grow, we’ve decided to focus our efforts on our original mission: baking. Returning that focus to our bakery will allow us to continue investing in the baked goods and experience that you know us for.
We’re grateful to everyone who stopped by Optimist Hall for a pastry, a sandwich, a coffee, or a celebration over the years. Most of all, we want to thank the incredible team members who helped bring this location to life.
If you’ve been meaning to stop by Optimist Hall one more time, we’d love to see you before June 30.
While our time at this location is coming to an end, we're excited to continue growing our Park Road bakery for years to come.
