Last week, our friends from Haerfest Coffee visited the cafe. Toby, Luke and Reid create custom roasts for Cakeable. They also provide job opportunities for individuals with disabilities at their roastery in Davidson.
Also our friend Tae and Clair came by to decorate coffee cup sleeves for our customers. We love visits from friends!

Last month the Leadership & Development interns who came into the cafe designed a scrapbook of our graduated interns. It’s fun for staff and guests to look through. Isabel enjoys looking at the photos of all her friends!

Savannah graduated from the cafe training program last November and has since been working at the McGee Center at Wingate. She just won the “Rookie of the Year” award at her staff party, and her employer said, “We are so proud of her.” We are too! Congrats, Savannah! 🎉
