Lots of crops this week to harvest for the big Blessing Basket giveaway. Bring your friends and family and fill your baskets with fresh veggies to take home for helping feed those in need. Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday at 9am. Saturday is a workday in the community garden in West Ashley. You can make a container plant to take home.

Amazing foundations . So happy to see people working together

The Exchange Club of Kiawah - Seabrook SC presented a check for $5000.00 to the Sea Island Hunger Awareness Foundation at the annual Exchange Club's Angel Oak Awards Banquet held on May 20th.
The award was given in honor of Leroy Blake, SIHAF Board Member and Volunteer who was the 2026 recipient of the Angel Oak Award.
The check was presented by Chris Stephenson, Exchange Club Foundation President to Shirley Salvo, SIHAF Founder and Leroy Blake.
The funds will be used to support SIHAF's Blessing Basket Program. This program serves up to 300 island families who live below the poverty level each month. 80% of the clients are over 60 or under 18 years.

Each $50.00 donation will cover the cost of one Blessing Basket that will provide enough food for a family for 2 weeks.
