CAFFE ROMEO

Barista/Cashier/Gelato Service

Immediate open position for our service team. Responsibilities include specialty coffee, gelato, and waffle counter service, customer payments, inventory stocking, and open/closing cleaning duties.

Must be available to work any shift Monday-Thursday (which will be 1 p.m-5p.m and 5 p.m-10 p.m), as well as Friday and Saturday (which will be 10 a.m to 4 p.m and 4 p.m-11 p.m).

This is a long term job, so you must be committed to at least one year. Barista experience a MUST.

Starting pay is minimum wage during training ($8.75) and after training is completed the hourly pay will be based on expertise and experience. In addition to the hourly wage, you will also receive tips. We have wonderful loyal customers we have built over eight years, so the tip amount is extraordinary.

Must be responsible, flexible, and dependable. Great people skills are also a must.

Dear loyal customers and friends: 🌹

We are delighted to announce that Caffe Romeo has officially reopened to the public in the soft opening stage at our new location at 908 Walnut Road, Charleston, WV.

We want to extend a huge thank you to all of our loyal customers and friends who have supported and waited for us during this time. The renovation took longer, and was more challenging than we anticipated, however it was a labor of love and passion. We sincerely hope this is reflected in what we have created.

We are excited to be open again to continue to share moments of happiness (both large and small!) with our community, as well as helping to spread positivity and love in our own way.

We will be extending our hours in the future, but currently our hours are:
Monday to Friday 3 p.m-9 p.m
Saturday 2 p.m-9 p.m

Our new format also includes a Waffle Bar, using, as always, Italian ingredients. We will have a variety of toppings, as well as the option to add a scoop of Gelato. This dessert is sure to please every palate, regardless of taste.

In addition, simple yet delicious Pasta and side dishes will soon be available. We will have these in the showcase, ready to enjoy. These dishes faithfully follow the example of my beloved parents, Ciro and Adele, who taught me, through their fantastic skills, the centuries-old culture of Napoli; a magical place where food is literally a "religion," and a reason for existence! 🇮🇹

We look forward to everyone visiting us to enjoy the fruit of the Italian cultural vision, which is intrinsically dedicated to beauty and quality, that we offer to the West Virginia community and all those who share these values.

Ciao beloved customers and friends!

We have been working hard to renovate our new location to make everything even more beautiful and exciting for you.

This has taken longer than we had anticipated because we are intent on upgrading the format to a Neapolitan Rosticceria that includes authentic baked pasta and side dishes. We will most likely have this goal completed and be able to have these new offerings by the end of summer. Everything is a work in progress!

However, we are planning to open as usual with Gelato, Sorbet (Dairy-Free), Coffee, and Pastries for the middle of June, with the hope that everything will go smoothly to keep this timeline.

Thank you to everyone who has messaged us, emailed us, stopped by the new location, or contacted us in some way. We enjoy still seeing and being in touch with our community, this precious support gave us the force to never give up in the face of this great difficulty.

Good afternoon loyal customers and friends!

As you may have seen, our current location on Bridge Road is permanently closed, but do not worry! We have exciting news for you!

We are moving to another location in South Hills (908 WALNUT ROAD).

While this unfortunately does mean that we will have to be closed until some time around MARCH 2025 to restyle and get everything ready, this new location will afford us the opportunity to upgrade our format to include new authentic Italian items.

We appreciate your patience and continued valuable support in our goals to spread out love through the flavors. We look forward to seeing you in the future and enjoying your company.

In the meantime, we will try to keep you as updated and informed as we can.
