A Message from Edmund Davidsen, Owner of The Rusty Bucket Pub and Grub

To our cherished friends and loyal patrons,

After five incredible years, I’ve made the difficult decision to close The Rusty Bucket Pub and Grub on August 31st. This choice hasn’t come easily, but as someone who works over 90 hours a week on the road, I’ve found it increasingly hard to give the restaurant—and this amazing community—the time and attention it deserves.

The Rusty Bucket has been more than just a business. It’s been a place of laughter, connection, and comfort. Thanks to our outstanding manager and staff, we’ve built something truly special. I’m deeply proud of what we’ve accomplished together and grateful for the unwavering support from the town of Chappell.

Although the doors will close at the end of the month, The Rusty Bucket Pub and Grub will be for sale. My hope is that someone with fresh energy and vision will continue to grow what we’ve started and keep serving this wonderful town with the same heart and dedication.

Thank you, Chappell, for making this adventure unforgettable. I will miss everything this place has become.
