You might notice a goose spending time around the shop lately 🪿 just grazing on the grass and quietly keeping us company.

We learned that their partner had been found injured in the parking lot a couple weeks ago and sadly didn’t make it. 💔

Since then, our little neighborhood — Resistance Threads, , and Tasty Tart - Champaign, IL— has become a place where they like to hang around. We are always happy to share the space with all of our lovely people, and even the occasional goose. 💛

∎ Handmade from scratch since 2020 ∎

It’s more than a phrase to us — it’s the heart of everything we do.

Every tart is made in small batches and freshly baked, using carefully curated ingredients and thoughtfully paired flavors. From mixing the dough and baking the shells to piping each layer and placing the final garnish, every step is done slowly and with care.

Made with a lot of heart, and shared with our Champaign community. 🫶

As spring begins to bloom, so does a new flavor at Tasty Tart.

Inspired by a suggestion from one of our wonderful customers, Orange Popsicle, this tart celebrates the elegant character of Earl Grey tea.

Bright citrus and soft floral notes unfold through each layer, starting with a fresh organic lemon balm leaf placed on top. Just before the first taste, a light rub of the leaf releases its bright lemony fragrance, offering a little preview of the flavors to come.

At the center, a dollop of orange marmalade rests over an Earl Grey Basque cheesecake base, while Earl Grey Chantilly is piped into soft petals above.

A beautiful balance of tea, citrus, and bergamot, thoughtfully crafted to welcome the season with every bite. ✨
