If you’re in tonight… tonight is Summer’s last shift so come wish her well! She’s off to college again and has worked with us for 5 years! However, this time we know that next summer she will have an internship and we won’t have the pleasure of having her on our team!! She’s so kind and hard working and I love that my little daughter adores her! ☀️ we wish you well and will miss you so much!

If you’re new here —- we have a Live Fast Foundation that was created in honor of our lost family member and teammate, Caden.

The shirts and the message embody his playful judge-free spirit. His 10 year old little sister Elizabeth helped design these and the saying. 🫶🏻
100% of proceeds go to the foundation and are used for local scholarship funds and future projects we’re excited to share about soon!

I was at the Mitchell Post Office today mailing something from The Smoking Mule. The very kind worker helping me had said “the smoking mule?? That’s cool, is it a bar?” I said “well yes but also a restaurant, patio, and gift shop” and he says “oh neat! I’m not a big drinker or I’d come visit” I said “to be honest with you I’m not a big drinker either it’s more about hospitality and the whole experience we just happen to serve great drinks too, so come see us anyways” he then says something that made me so proud….. “oh I see, so you own a place where people can come be themselves and just have fun and forget about their worries…. Plus drinks.”

Absolutely 🩵 I’m so proud he can pick up the atmosphere and culture here from a tiny little convo. So proud of my team, that’s what Caden was best at here and I’m proud we continue that on through his energy and memory. 🫶🏻

Well, this happened. 🥹

It’s crazy when you do think we’re #1 picked for South Dakota and in the top 38 in the NATION!!!

I’ve asked myself a few times HOW, WHAAAAT??, WHY?!? And then every time I just proudly remember that I have the best staff ever. They are so great that they stick out Nationally from a small town of 2,500 people in the middle of a “flyover state!” 😍

I’m so incredibly proud of them and all of our collective hard work in this building, in the past 8 years.

Welp! Another wild crazy busy week!!!! We always think we’re over prepped and yet you guys surprise us and just keep on comin’ 😁 it’s a good problem! But we do apologize we’re out of several items on the menu, if this keeps up over this evening we will have to close early. Please stay tuned and know that we’re EXTREMELY grateful for your patronage and kindness during peak season! We will for sure be closing the kitchen at 8pm!
