McMenamins Olympic Club

McMenamins Olympic Club In central Washington State, The Olympic Club Hotel's legend looms large.

Here you'll find a historic building – filled with warm woods and period details – steeped in colorful tales of countless gamblers' jackpots, revenuer raids, dark secrets deeply buried, and a famous bandit's bravado. The Olympic Club has been a point of power, intrigue and contention since opening in 1908. Its name evokes heroic gods of ancient Herculean characters, the exploits of whom are now th

e stuff of modern legend. McMenamins has expanded upon the Olympic Club's traditional definition of a workingman's resort by welcoming the whole family to enjoy lodging, meals, movies, art, history, sport and special events. Throughout the Olympic Club historic photographs and extensive original artwork chronicle the building's intriguing history.

Some occasions call for more than pushing a few tables together. ✨

Birthday dinners. Retirement celebrations. Family gatherings. The annual get-together that somehow keeps getting bigger every year.

That's where the Green Room comes in.

A little more space to spread out, raise a glass, share a meal, and enjoy being together without wondering where everyone is going to sit.

Ready to reserve it for your next gathering? Give us a call at (360) 736-5164 and let's make it happen. 🍻

Happy Summer Solstice to all who celebrate the return of staying outside until 9pm and completely losing track of time. ☀️😌

The longest day of the year is Sunday, June 21st, which means you have even more daylight to ask, "Should we have one more?" and answer, "Yeah, probably."

To help honor the occasion, we'll have Sunflower IPA specials all day:

🌻 Happy hour pricing on pints
🌻 $1 off 4-packs to go
📖 Plus a just-for-fun Passport stamp

Think of it as a small reward for making it through the dark days of January and February.

History Pub is back at the Olympic Club, and this one hits especially close to home for us 📚✨

We’re diving into the wild story of Roy Gardner’s Great Escapes, the infamous train robber whose daring prison breaks, headline-making manhunts, and larger-than-life reputation made him one of the West Coast’s most talked-about figures of the 1920s.

Presented by Casey McNerthney, this program brings the history to life right where part of it actually unfolded... the Olympic Club itself.

Because Roy Gardner isn’t just a chapter in history… he’s part of this building’s story.

Join us Tuesday, June 16 at 7pm (doors at 6pm) for an all-ages evening of history, storytelling, and a reminder that the past here is never too far away.

Shuffleboard + a bar that actually knows your name energy 🎯🍻

No apps. No overthinking. Just a good table, a cold drink, and that one friend who suddenly gets very competitive over a wooden puck.

Simple fun. Good company. Exactly how it should be.

Featured this week 🍽️✨

Sesame Seared Ahi—the kind of dish that walks in, doesn’t say much, and somehow still becomes the favorite at the table.

Cellarmaster’s Steak & Mushroom Bites—comfort food, but make it slightly dramatic in the best way. The garlic bread alone is doing emotional support work.

And to drink: Black Rabbit Sangria. Smooth, a little dangerous in how easy it goes down, and very good at convincing you that “one more round” is a solid plan.

That’s the vibe this week. No notes. Just order it. 🍻

43 years ago, a little pub called Barley Mill opened its doors and somehow set off a chain reaction that’s still unfolding today. 🍻✨

On June 13th, we celebrate that story: the beer, the music, the art, the Passport stamps, and all the places that already had a history long before we showed up.

Like Olympic Club Hotel, a Centralia landmark that’s been part of downtown since 1913. Originally known as the Oxford Hotel, it carried decades of stories tied to a changing main street. Today, it stands as a layered space of lodging, live music, film, and gathering.

That’s the thread running through everything we’re celebrating.

On June 13th, we mark 43 years with:
🍻 All-day happy hour on 1983 Lager pints
🥔 All-day happy hour on Cajun tots
🎟️ A just-for-fun Passport stamp

Because the best places aren’t frozen in time, they keep going.

After a long day of antique shopping and wandering through Downtown Centralia's shops, your feet have earned a break 🛍️✨

You've hunted for treasures, found things you definitely didn't need (but absolutely had to have), and carried them around town all day.

Now it's time to kick your feet up, settle in, and relax.

Good thing we're here.
