Last night, our team came together to prepare emergency hygiene kits for young ladies and young men to go along with the school supplies we’ll be giving away this Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at Reed Harvey Park.

This is what true partnership looks like.

Neighbors, businesses, nonprofits, and community leaders united around one goal: making sure our students head back to school with confidence and the essentials they need to succeed.

I’m especially proud to share that no public funds from any governmental entity were used for this event. Every backpack, school supply, flyer, banner and hygiene kit was made possible through private donations, generous sponsors, and community partners who chose to invest in our children.

Thank you to everyone who gave their time, resources, and heart to make this possible. Together, we’re proving that when a community works together, there’s no limit to what we can accomplish.
