The Cargo Mule is an expandable luggage rack made of ABS
plastic. Key differences from existing luggage racks are:
Combination Luggage Rack/Sissy Bar - Luggage systems on the market today are separate pieces. Many bikes come with a small luggage rack, but require the purchase of a sissy bar to attach a bag. Our system replaces both pieces during the ride to the destination, while allowing replac
ement of aesthetic sissy bar upon arrival. Height of Back - Allows user to stack bags two high. No other luggage rack accommodates stacking two full size bags. Connection Locations for Straps - The unique cut outs around the edges allow the user to strap down cargo where ever necessary for a secure load. Most luggage racks don't allow for adequate strap down or ability to secure their cargo resulting in multiple bungee cords strapped to the bike frame, fenders or anything else to which they can connect. Expandable Base - Two slide out side wings expand the base allowing for more cargo. The wings expand over saddlebags still allowing access to bags while rack is mounted. Quick Release System - Mounting systems for Soft Tail, Dyna, and Touring bike, adjustable to fit most any EVO. Most luggage racks are specific to the bike frame and specific years. Light Weight - ABS plastic provides lightweight and extreme strength providing safe handling and superior ability to carry more cargo. Removable and Adjustable Backrest for Rider - The adjustable backrest allows the rider to adjust the height for maximum comfort. Rain/Dust Cover Accessory - The addition of our rain/dust cover as an option will offer additional security of personal property, while protecting it from the elements. It has long been the problem for riders who enjoy touring, whether it's year round or only a couple times a year, to take the required gear. Internet motorcycle forums are rife with discussion strands on creative ways motorcyclists have modified their existing systems or requests for advice on where they can find a solution. Now there is a solution to this problem that is affordable, safe and secure. Once at the destination, it can be easily removed and replaced with the owners' standard sissy bar and luggage rack for normal riding.
