Life is about finding passion and pursuing it. That's how you fill the “dash” you leave behind. Each person is given a beginning and end date, only being filled in with a simple dash. Dash Coffee Roasters is passionate about coffee and community. We will strive to offer the highest quality of coffee products in the area, accompanied by modern takes on classic foods and a great atmosphere. The driving force of Dash is that “good enough isn't good enough.” Cedar Rapids new roaster will introduce the freshest coffee in the Corridor market, brewed by a staff educated on the intricacies of the coffee bean as it goes from seed to cup. The new business will provide a welcoming space for a developing community to meet and mingle while enjoying great coffee and food.

I don't know how Ben started making this recipe, but I hope he never stops. Their spicy, sweet, crunchy, creamy, and so packed with flavor that you just can't stop. It's National Women's Small Business Month and aren't I blessed to call this one mine?!?

Did you know that when I was born, I wouldn't have even been allowed to own this place on my own? It wasn't until 1988 that women could own a business without a male co-signer. That's wild. That's less than one generation ago. But here we are in 2026 with over 40% of small businesses being run by powerful, independent, multi-hat wearing women!

And so, cheers to you ladies🥂 To all of us! To the ones raising children, staff members, and the bar! We are strong, we are brave, we are more than capable, and we are blessed. Give your favorite lady leaders a high five this month 'cause we've probably all earned a few (and maybe a hug too)💕
