And we would love to have you join us for one last night. Officially the last time to get tipsy at Taco Gato, with our 2 for 1 tequila & mezcal shots!

Please stay understanding with us friends, as we are running out of many items throughout the night, but we would still love to see you!

We appreciate your love and support beyond words. These past few weeks have been bittersweet for all of us! All of your kind words, positive energy, & support for our beloved Taco Cat have made it that much harder to say good-bye.

Dear Taco Gato Family,

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closure of Taco Gato in downtown Cedar Rapids. This decision has not come lightly, as we’ve poured our hearts and souls into creating a vibrant space for our community to enjoy delicious food, laughter, and memorable moments.

We want to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude to our amazing staff, whose dedication and hard work have made Taco Gato a beloved spot in our town. Your passion, creativity, and commitment to excellence have been the backbone of this restaurant, and we couldn’t have done it without you.

Despite our love for this venture, we have realized that we need to focus our unique energy and talents in areas where we can truly thrive. It’s essential for us to make choices that align with our vision and where we can find lasting success.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us on this journey. Your loyalty, kindness, and enthusiasm have meant the world to us. We will cherish the memories and hope to see you all in our future endeavors.
