Soup season is officially upon us!
Tomorrow, Thursday October 1, will be our first day of soup for the fall and winter portion of our season!

We will have homemade chili everyday and, one other surprise guest tomorrow! We will rotate soups, as soon as they are sold!!

🍂🍦 FALL HOURS ARE OFFICIALLY HERE! 🍦🍂

Now that the holiday has come and gone, the girls are back in school, and homecomings, dances & all the fall craziness are upon us… it’s officially time for us to transition into our FULL FALL HOURS! 💗💙

We tried to hold onto those summer hours for as long as we possibly could — because honestly, we weren’t quite ready to let summer go either! 😂☀️

🍔🍟🍦 TASTEE TOP IS NOW OPEN EVERY DAY UNTIL 8 PM!

And YES — we’re OPEN ALL YEAR LONG! 🙌🏼

Summer might be winding down, but Tastee Top definitely isn’t! We have lots of fun things, new flavors, menu updates & a few surprises still coming your way. 👀💕

Did you know? Today is apparently considered the last official day of hot dog season and we just so happen to be open until 8 PM!

🍂 FALL HOURS ARE HERE AT TASTEE TOP! 🍦💗💙

It’s that time of year again! Our TOP notch 🙂‍↔️ high school and college girlies have officially headed back to school, which means we’re making the switch to our Fall Hours starting THIS weekend!

🍦 Sunday–Thursday: 11AM–8PM
🌮 Friday & Saturday: 11AM–9PM

Summer may be winding down, but Tastee Top definitely isn’t! 👀

We have SO many new things in the works and some changes we’re really excited about. We’ve been working behind the scenes, learning, growing, and dreaming up what’s next for Tastee Top — and we can’t wait to bring you along with us.

So stick around, follow along, and come with us for the ride! 💗💙 There’s a whole lot more to come.

For those of us still sifting through all the craziness of the last few weeks, we want to get rid of some bags of ice we have! Many of you will notice if you come inside to order, we have a brand new Coca Cola machine with an ice maker attached on top. You won’t see our girls lugging 20 lb bags of ice from the freezer in back anymore! A true miracle!

Our gain (of the new pop machine/ice maker) is now your gain!
$5. Cash only. 5 bags left! Who needs ice? Message me ASAP!

I finally found a bit of cell service! And am happy to announce that we have been WITH power all day!

Sorry for the delay in the update but we’ve been slammed all day! Here’s what we know:

We are not taking phone orders for the night, we are doing in-person orders only. We apologize for the inconvenience.

We are out of gyro.
We are out of burgers.
We are low on breaded mushrooms.

We DO have ice cream up and running, we had to empty and clean the machine to make sure we were okay!

We will more than likely be closing at 8pm, so that we have a chance to catch up and prep for tomorrow!

We will be back to our normal, everyday menu tomorrow. With burgers, gyros and all. BUT there’s a good possibility that we will run out of stuff tomorrow as well. We don’t get out big order until Friday, luckily, so it’s possible we run out of more tomorrow! Just to keep it real!

Northwest Indiana got absolutely SLAMMED today. 💔⛈️

This storm has officially caused the largest outage event in NIPSCO history — approximately 301,000 customers were impacted. Winds exceeded 100 MPH, trees and power lines are down everywhere, and for many areas, getting power back is expected to be a multi-day process.

Cedar Lake was hit HARD. Right now, so many of our neighbors are without power, businesses are closed, gas is hard to find, and even grabbing something to eat isn’t as easy as it normally is.

And unfortunately… Tastee Top is right there with everyone else. 🩷💙

We have no power and no real idea when it’s coming back.

BUT—we also have a restaurant full of fresh food that I would much rather get into people’s hands than watch go to waste.

So tomorrow, I’m going to do everything I can to make something happen. If that means firing up the grill outside and selling what we can for CHEAP… then that’s what we’re gonna do. 😂🔥

We have fresh tomatoes, onions, red peppers & green peppers that need homes, and we’ll figure out what else we can safely offer as we go.

Tomorrow is going to be all about not wasting perfectly good food when there are people all around us who could use it.

I’ll post updates tomorrow as we figure out exactly what we can do.

Until then — stay safe, Cedar Lake. Check on your neighbors. Stay away from downed lines. And maybe say a little prayer for the NIPSCO crews because they have one HELL of a job ahead of them. 🙏🏼⚡️

🚨 BIG NEWS! 🚨

Tomorrow we’re getting a brand new Coca-Cola machine! 🎉

And while that alone is pretty exciting… m@that’s not even the best part.

👀 By Tuesday, we’ll have TWO BRAND NEW soda pop flavors available!

Nope… we’re not telling you what they are yet. 🤐

You’ll just have to stop by this week and see for yourself! We promise they’re worth the wait. 😉

We’re always trying to make Tastee Top a little better, one project at a time, and we can’t wait for you to check out the newest addition!
