🇺🇸 America is turning 250… and honestly? We think that’s a pretty good excuse to clock out a little early. 😂🍦

From June 29 through July 5, we’re taking an hour off the top! (See what we did there? An hour off the top. Off the Tastee Top).

✨ Grill shuts down at 7:30 PM
✨ We’ll close at 8:00 PM
✨ And we’ll be CLOSED all day Saturday, July 4th.

Our crew works incredibly hard all summer long, and we wanted to give them a little extra time to enjoy the holiday with the people they love (and hopefully eat someone else’s cooking for once 😅).

Thanks for supporting our small business and for always showing our team so much love.

We’ll be back to our regular hours after the holiday week!

Today we’re celebrating all the dads, grandpas, stepdads, bonus dads, and father figures who have spent years telling us:

* Turn the thermostat back up.
* We have food at home.
* Don’t touch my tools.
* That’s not how you load a dishwasher.
* We should’ve left 30 minutes ago.

In honor of dads everywhere, we’re celebrating with burgers, tacos, shakes, ice cream, and the hope that everyone gets home before Dad starts asking if we can leave yet.

⚡️ WE HAVE POWER! ⚡️

After multiple outages, a tree down, and more unexpected excitement than we ordered this week, the lights are officially back on at Tastee Top! 🎉🍦🍔

We’ll be ready to fully serve between 11:30 AM and 12:00 PM today as we finish up a few extra dishes and tasks that couldn’t be completed last night while we were without power.

Thank you to everyone who checked on us, shared our updates, sent kind messages, and stuck with us through the chaos. Your support means more than you know! ❤️

Now let’s get back to what we do best: burgers, ice cream, and making summer memories by the lake. ☀️🍦

⚠️ POWER OUTAGE UPDATE ⚠️

Well well well, WHAT. A. DAY!!!!

The power went out.
Then the power came back on.
Then the power went BACK out.
Now, we wait…

We had an estimated restoration time of 10:45 PM, according to NIPSCO…but as we see it’s almost an hour after that and they’re still out there working tirelessly!!!

To make things even more exciting, a tree came down not too far from the store, so it’s just been one of those days.

As always, we’ll keep you posted as we receive updates. We appreciate everyone’s patience, support, and understanding while Mother Nature gets her life together. 😅

Our hope is to be back at it bright and early tomorrow once we can assess everything in the daylight and make sure we’re ready to serve you safely.

Thanks for hanging in there with us. We promise we’re trying to keep up with the plot twists! 🍦💙

🎨✨ BIG CHANGES ARE UNDERWAY AT TASTEE TOP GRILL! ✨🎨

If you've driven by recently, you've probably noticed something exciting happening!

We're in the process of repainting the entire exterior of Tastee Top Grill, and WOW... check out that color difference!!! 💙💗

Over the next few days, you'll see our painter hard at work transforming the building with a fresh new look. We appreciate your patience while we complete the makeover, but trust us—it is going to be worth it!

As we continue investing in Tastee Top, our goal remains the same: to create the best place around to grab your favorite burgers, tacos, ice cream, and treats. 🍔🌮🍦

We love this little spot and we're committed to making it better and better every season.
