After much prayer, discussion, and reflection, we’ve made the difficult decision to close Mija Barbecue.
Our final day of service will be Saturday, June 27th.
What started as a backyard barbecue dream grew into something we never could have imagined. From pop-ups and brewery days to opening our own restaurant, you’ve allowed us to serve this community for years, and for that we are deeply grateful.
We’ve celebrated milestones with you, catered your weddings and family gatherings, watched children grow up, and shared countless conversations across the counter. The relationships we’ve built along the way have meant far more to us than any plate of barbecue ever could.
While this chapter is coming to an end, we do so with full hearts. Mija has been blessed beyond measure by loyal customers, dedicated employees, supportive friends, and a community that believed in us from the very beginning.
To every person who ordered a meal, left a review, recommended us to a friend, attended an event, or simply stopped by to say hello: thank you. You helped make this dream possible.
Over the next few weeks, we’d love the opportunity to serve you one last time, share some stories, and say goodbye properly.
