🍬Trunk or Treat is from 3 to 4 PM, so bring the kids in their costumes and get ready for treats and smiles!

We’d love to have you around our table this Thanksgiving. Let us handle the cooking and cleanup while you enjoy a meal with your family.

Our all-you-can-eat, family-style Thanksgiving dinner includes:

• Turkey and ham
• Mashed potatoes with turkey gravy
• Stuffing
• Cranberry sauce
• Sweet potato casserole
• Green beans
• Corn
• Rolls

A drink and one serving of dessert are included with your meal.

Thanksgiving pricing:

• Ages 13 and older: $39.99
• Ages 6–12: $19.99
• Ages 5 and under: Free with a paying adult, limited to one free child per paying adult

Thanksgiving dining from 12–5 PM. Reservations only, with final seating at 4 PM.

Please call the restaurant during BUSINESS HOURS or EMAIL [email protected] to request a reservation.

Include your name, phone number, preferred dining time, and the number of adults and children in each age group.

If you email us, please watch for our reply. Your reservation is confirmed only after we email you back confirming it has been received and recorded.

Prices exclude tax. A 20% automatic gratuity will be added for all party sizes on Thanksgiving Day.

Happy 44th Birthday to the Homeplace Restaurant.

Today we honor and thank the Wingate family for starting a treasure in our community!

For the last four decades our restaurant has brought more joy to families at the table and we continue to celebrate that legacy and continue tradition.

We just have a lot to be thankful for this week and although the goal is not to really “brag” about our successes, we just couldn’t help all the amazing things happening this week.

We have connected with the AD at Glenvar High School and will be feeding their Friday Night Lights workers with our tailgate packages that they purchased.

The Least of These requested a few items for a very special event we are partnering with them in a few weeks and our community is doing amazing things together to help those in need.

Thank you to Visit Virginia's Blue Ridge for allowing us to participate in Restaurant week-our team is ready to serve all who inquire about our selected option.

Don’t forget to head to our website to purchase tickets for our movie night this Saturday and if you would like a tailgate package for that night please let us know by Thursday at the latest.

I know we are closed today and restocking our shelves for the upcoming week we have at The Homeplace:

1. We are participating in Visit Virginia's Blue Ridge Restaurant Week! (Check previous post for details)

2. We have our very first family event this Saturday (🎬 Back to School Dinner Night & Movie on the Lawn ) Purchase tickets on our website- Tickets are $10 at the door.

Also, did you know that there are still customers who have been to our restaurant for generations and they still don't know we are back open.

Anyway, here is a picture of food we served this past weekend-we had about 568 shares when we first opened and wanted to see if we could have more shares with this post. We are sad people don't know we are now open and operating and don't want our friends to miss out on the exciting things we have coming up!

We have some exciting news to share!

We are thrilled to announce that The Homeplace Restaurant is providing the entrees for our 6th Annual Dining with Dignity!

This special evening is coming together because of the incredible generosity of our community! In addition to the delicious entrees being provided by The Homeplace, members of our community are stepping up to create an assortment of delectable desserts to complete the meal!

Now, we just need one more special piece to bring the evening together... live flowers!

We are looking for a florist willing to donate 15 medium-sized flower centerpieces for our dining tables. With beautiful arrangements adorning the tables, we will have the perfect setting for a truly memorable evening, bringing together mouth-watering food, beautiful surroundings, and the warmth and dignity every person deserves!

Are you a florist, or do you know of one who might be willing to donate the arrangements? If so, please reach out to us!

If you are a business, organization, church, or individual who would like to sponsor the purchase of these flower arrangements, we would love to hear from you as well!

Together, we can create an evening that our unsheltered friends will remember for years to come! Not simply because of the food, but because they were welcomed, honored, and reminded of their value!
