A dark, wet, and chilly Christmastime calls for a meal that's earthy, rich, and warm.

And that is exactly what you'll find on our Christmas menu this year.

The main entreé is our Beef Bourguignon with Pappardelle - a savory stew made from grass-fed, all-natural, and non-GMO beef chuck sourced from simmered alongside satisfying organic veggies from our store.

For the non-meat eaters we also offer a wholesome vegan version of the Bourguignon or our comforting Veggie Shepherd's Pie.

To compliment the main dishes, we've got roasted veg options; Roasted Brussel Sprouts with Confit Garlic and/or our Roasted Heirloom Carrots with Carrot Top Gremolata.

The decadence is then dialed up for dessert which features our Sticky Toffee Pudding with Roasted Pears and Whipped Cream and/our our Chocolate Croissant Bread Pudding with Raspberry Sauce.

We are now taking orders for both meals and a la carte items online through the 21st. Meals will be available for pickup on the 23rd or 24th between Noon and 6:00 pm. Please make note in order form box for which day you would prefer.

Thanksgiving is fast approaching and you may be questioning whether you really want to cook all that much.

We get it, so we just want to remind you that has a phenomenal menu of Thanksgiving dishes for you to enjoy.

We are SOLD OUT of Turkeys, but still have Mushroom Pot Pies and Vegan Acorn Squash mains available, plus plenty of splendid sides like our Potato Fennel Gratin, Blistered Green Beans, Chicory and Persimmon Salad, and much more.

We also have house-made pies and cake too.

This is our Potato Fennel Gratin dish on our Thanksgiving Menu.

Because what’s a Thanksgiving dinner without potatoes? Gratin potatoes could be one of our head chef's all-time favorite dishes to make, and of course, eat!

This version is loaded with ultra-creamy gruyere and cream, and punched up with fennel; this one wins the award for decadence. It is a new must have on any holiday table.

This is the Chicory & Persimmon Salad on our Thanksgiving Menu.

Our head cook, Erin, took inspiration from her British and California roots while coming up with this year's menu, and this salad exemplifies that.

Chicories are Erin’s absolute favorite winter leafy veggie. They are hearty and have just the right amount of bitterness. Persimmons are a must on the English holiday table and bring Erin back to the holiday suppers she had at her great grandmother’s house in England. The persimmon mellows out the bitterness of the chicories while the pomegranate brings in a surprisingly fresh, sweet-tart element to the salad. It's topped with spiced & candied walnuts, and tossed with a house-made vinegar and oil dressing featuring Amphora Nueva Olive Oil.

These are our Blistered Green Beans. It's part our Thanksgiving menu.

Many of us are lovers of the old school green bean casserole made with cream of mushroom soup, so we had to have green beans on the menu.

But this may be the new favorite way to eat green beans.

Having access to such fresh and organic veggies makes it necessary to preserve the flavor and lightness of this delicious veggie.

Blistering them keeps them crisp while imparting a wonderful, almost smoky flavor. And replacing the cardboard like texture of canned fried onions with caramelized shallots helps keep that freshness alive. And the crunch? Well that comes from the buttery pistachios.

We have put together a phenomenal Thanksgiving menu based on traditional dishes with subtle twists inspired by our cook's British and California roots.

We are taking pre-orders for full meals, including two turkey-less options, and all sides and dishes are available a la carte as well. And there's house-made dessert!

Everything comes pre-cooked & reheating instructions will be provided. The amount of meals we can make is limited so order yours soon.

Pick up will be in store in Castro Valley on the 22nd and 23rd. If you are an Alameda area we will be making deliveries to Alameda Natural Grocery. Please indicate date and location in the order notes field on the order form.
