🚨 We're Hiring at Bondegard Café! 🚨

As we continue to grow, we're looking to add a couple of team members to our staff!

👨‍🍳 **Afternoon/Evening Cook**

* Kitchen experience preferred
* Availability from at least **3:00 PM - 6:30 PM**
* Earlier availability is a plus
* Ability to work independently and keep up during busy periods

☕ **Afternoon/Evening Shift Supervisor (Adult)**

* Availability from at least **3:00 PM - 6:30 PM**
* Earlier availability is a plus
* Must be willing to learn and assist in the kitchen, bakery and coffee shop
* Leadership, customer service, and multitasking skills are important
* Opening and closing responsibilities may be involved

We're looking for dependable, hardworking individuals who enjoy working with people and being part of a team-focused environment.

⚾☕ Baseball Tournament Weekend at Bondegard Café! ☕⚾

We've heard there's a big baseball tournament in town this weekend, and we're ready for it!

We'll be open regular hours both days with plenty of:

I spent much of today baking and restocking, and I’ll be back in the kitchen tomorrow making even more goodies to keep the bakery case full. We’re learning more every day about what our community loves, and we’re having so much fun bringing fresh baked goods to Casselton.

Thank you all for your incredible support during our first week. We truly couldn’t do this without such an amazing community.

❤️☕ Casselton, You Are One Amazing Town! ☕❤️

We are so thankful to call Casselton home. The support, encouragement, kindness, and patience you’ve shown us these past few days have been incredible. We truly live in an amazing community, and we can’t thank you enough for showing up for us.

Today was our busiest day yet!

This morning our bakery case was full of fresh caramel rolls and cinnamon rolls, and they completely sold out within the first two hours. We were so busy that I went back to the kitchen and made another full batch of caramel rolls and cinnamon rolls—and those sold out by about 3:00 PM too!

We also sold out of all of our cookies and had an amazing lunch rush that kept us all on our toes. It was one of those days where you barely have time to look at the clock, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the support.

Good news—we’re ready for tomorrow!

🥮 Two full batches of caramel rolls and cinnamon rolls have already been made.
🍪 Most of our cookie varieties have been restocked.
🍫 Fresh brownies are available.
✨ I’m hoping to get some seven-layer bars made tomorrow.
🍇 We also have oatmeal raisin cookies. They got a little crispier than intended thanks to how busy we were, but they’re still delicious!
🥣 Yogurt parfaits are available as well.

We’re learning more every day about what our community loves, and we’re working hard to keep the bakery case full for everyone.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for supporting our small business, being patient while we learn, and making our first week more successful than we could have imagined. We can’t wait to see you tomorrow! ❤️

🥮❤️ We Sold Out Today! ❤️🥮

Wow! Thank you everyone!

We completely sold out of our caramel rolls today, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the support. Don’t worry—a fresh batch will be coming out tomorrow morning! 😋

We also sold out of our Tater Tot Hotdish special! Our first pan was gone in less than an hour, so we quickly made a second pan—and that sold out too! We definitely weren’t expecting that kind of response, but we are so thankful.

Tomorrow’s special will be:

🍗 BBQ Chicken

As we continue settling in, we’re working hard to fill our bakery case one day at a time. Every day we’re baking a little more, learning a little more, and adding new goodies for you to enjoy. We’re still finding our groove and learning what everyone loves most, but we’re having a blast doing it!

🚨 **Update for Today (Thursday)** 🚨

WE ARE STILL OPEN FOR EVERYTHING BUT ESPRESSO DRINKS!

Unfortunately, the construction will be shutting the water off again today from approximately **9:00 AM to 1:00 PM** due to ongoing water line work. This is not how we expected opening week to go.

We were originally told the shutoff would only affect us yesterday, but this morning we confirmed with the crews that service will be interrupted again today.

The good news is that **we plan to reopen at 1:00 PM as soon as water service is restored!** ☕🍪

We've been busy baking and have **lots of fresh bakery items** ready for you, including fresh buns, rolls, cookies, and more.

🚨 CLOSED WEDNESDAY (Tomorrow) 🚨

Unfortunately, Bondegard Café will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday, due to water line work being completed in our area. We were notified yesterday that water service will be interrupted from approximately 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM, which covers most of our Wednesday business hours.

Since we’re only open until 2:00 PM on Wednesdays, we made the difficult decision to close for the day.

The good news? We’ve been busy! 🍪🥖

We’ve spent the evening baking and prepping, and we’re hoping to continue once the water is restored tomorrow afternoon. That means we’ll have plenty of fresh buns, bread, cookies, and other goodies ready for Thursday!

Thank you for your understanding and patience as we work through things that are outside of our control. We can’t wait to see everyone back on Thursday at 7:00 AM!
