In times when kindness is a novelty, when people cut you off driving, when no one helps carry things when your leg is broken, when people neither speak or smile at you…something remarkable happened last weekend at the soccer fields. An anonymous man laid a $100 bill on the counter and told me to use it for soccer players’ shave ice. It so inspired another customer that she paid for hers and then said “keep it going, add the change to the total”. Dear kind sir, I want you to know you brought tears to many eyes for your kindness and I hope you heard one whole soccer team scream “THANK YOU” at the top of their lungs. That was for you. I don’t know who you are or where you’re from but what a nice gift for the players and the people who support them. May many blessings befall you.
