Now before anyone asks... the grill and fryer both called in sick today, so they're taking the day off. They said they couldn't handle working in this weather. 😂

Well folks, Raymond’s Frozen Custard is open today from Noon to 8:00 PM for frozen custard treats!
The grill and fryer will be taking the day off while my daughter and I take care of funeral arrangements. We appreciate everyone's understanding during this difficult time.
Now, according to Bigfoot, this creates a very simple problem-solving opportunity:
"If there's no food today, that just means there's more room for frozen custard!"

Well folks, Raymond's Frozen Custard will be closed today and possibly tomorrow.
My mother passed away early this morning.
Anyone who knew her knows she wasn't the type to sit still for very long, so I'm pretty sure she's already up there somewhere in a hayfield raking hay, pulling weeds in a flower bed, and probably telling somebody their lawn needs mowing while she's at it.
Thank you to everyone for your thoughts, prayers, and support during this difficult time. It means more than I can put into words.
We'll let everyone know when we're able to reopen. Until then, give your loved ones a hug and keep us in your thoughts.
Rest easy, Mom. The hay is raked, the flower beds are weeded, the lawn is mowed, and you've earned your rest. ❤️

Well folks, I have not posted that much lately because I've been busy.
Some of you may know, and some of you may not, that my mother came home on June 5th and is now receiving hospice care at home. So my family and I have been spending as much time with her as possible.
Because of that, things may be a little different around Raymond's Frozen Custard for a while. We are still planning to be open today, but instead of opening at noon, it may be closer to 1:30 or 2:00 PM. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Bigfoot and I sat down and created some delicious flavors for today. Well, I created them. Bigfoot mostly supervised and sampled everything.

Sure, it's cloudy. Sure, it's windy. Bigfoot is currently sprinting around the parking lot wearing an Alaskan parka and questioning all of his life choices. But frozen custard waits for no one!
