What a beautiful evening in Blairsville, Georgia! 🦐🌽❤️

Congratulations to the bride and groom! Thank you for trusting Firefly Catering to cater your Lowcountry boil rehearsal dinner. There is something special about gathering with family and friends in a beautiful backyard, sharing great food, laughter, and celebrating the start of a new chapter.

The outdoor setting, mountain air, and relaxed backyard vibe made for a perfect evening. We were honored to be a small part of such a memorable celebration.

This weekend reminded us exactly why we do what we do.

Two weddings. One graduation party. Countless moving parts. Full hearts. Exhausted feet.

Saturday brought us to a stunning backyard wedding with the most incredible entertaining space, complete with a side house and bar setup that created the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable evening. Guests enjoyed passed fig & goat cheese crostinis and firecracker shrimp skewers before dinner featuring creamy Tuscan chicken, flank steak, garlic whipped potatoes, and assorted grilled vegetables. We also had the honor of providing bartending services for the celebration.

Sunday took us to a venue new to us in Bremen for an incredible Bosnian wedding celebration filled with culture, energy, tradition, and hospitality. Nothing was left to spare. Passed appetizers included summer lamb lollipops with demi glaze and citrus gremolata, mini deconstructed beef Wellington with sauce foyot, and spanakopita. Guests chose between Steak Diane or herb-crusted chicken with lemon gorgonzola cream for their plated dinner service.

The venue did not have onsite cooking equipment, so we rolled in with the Fork in the Road food truck — and she worked beautifully.

Weekends like this are why we sometimes close our small restaurant to focus on large-scale catering events. To our Firefly Table guests who continue to support and understand our growing business — thank you. Your support allows us to create experiences like these all over Georgia.

Now… we rest. Maybe.

We had the honor of catering today’s barn grand opening for Nestledown Equine Services LLC — and what a beautiful space it is.

We leaned into the rustic feel with brown butter chocolate chip cookies tied in twine, “Hay Bale Bites” with whipped goat cheese, thyme, and roasted tomatoes, and custom logo cookies to tie it all together.

Congratulations to Nestledown on your opening — we’re grateful to have been part of it. ✨
