Four! For four birthdays, I’ve had the privilege of making this sweet boy’s birthday cakes (and every cake for every other occasion in the family 🤣).
Right before his first birthday, this Mama messaged me for the time asking if I could do a fondant cake for her son’s party. I told her it wasn’t really my favorite and I didn’t really know what I was doing, but I could do buttercream. She told me “good thing he’s a baby and he won’t care. You won’t get better if you don’t practice!” And that, my friends, is why I DO use fondant now. All it took was a little push and a lot of grace. This family has always been so gracious and kind and I’m so grateful they continue to come back for more! 💕
