A flood of bittersweet feelings as we watch one of our Corner family members move on to the next exciting stages of her life. Madison has truly been a ray of sunshine that would make even the Corner mural jealous. From day one, Madison took absolute command of her position and of our dining room and quickly left her mark on her co-workers and her regulars. Never shying away from a challenge, Madison wouldn't ever be seen giving less than her best when she showed up to work. We're sad that we won't be able to see you as often, but we're happy that you're taking your next big steps in your life. We hope you always know that you have a Corner family waiting for you if you ever need anything. We love you, Maddie, and we're excited to see what's in store for you next!

🚨BREAKING NEWS🚨
After years of running and growing a wildly successul and beloved local restaurant, Corner Cafe owner, Chris Duffey, has decided to finally switch gears and pursue his true passion in life... Corn.

The owner was quoted as saying "You know, the restaurant gig was always intended to be the launching pad for my true love, Corn. And now that we've reached our peak, it's finally time to make it happen." Chris then went on to say "A lot of people assumed the restaurant was named Corner Cafe for its location in the corner of the square, but actually I was just trying to hide my real interest in plain sight. Henceforth, we'll officially be known as The CORN-er Cafe."

Mr. Duffey then began to show off his expertise in the craft of corn. "Anyway, like I was sayin', corn is the fruit of the country. You can barbecue it, boil it, broil it, bake it, saute it. Dey's cornbread, corn casserole, corn on the cob, corn fritters, corn chowder..." He continued his list for another 10 minutes.

We know that many of you will likely be upset to no longer have access to your favorite sandwiches and spinach artichoke dip, but who knows what crazy scheme Mr. Duffey will have next April Fools day!
