🌺 We can't let the summer pass us by without giving a big shout out and heartfelt thank you to The Plant Nanny (Karen Boyce) for bringing beauty and color all around the clubhouse and patio with her stunning floral arrangements! Guests have "oohed" and "aahed" all season as the flowers bloomed and grew, offering a lovely welcome and backdrop for every visit. Karen shared that her inspiration this year was red, white, and blue, which was fitting as we celebrated our nation's 250th birthday this year. She also shared that the planters were rush delivered all the way from New York for the first Nick Nurse Foundation event by Jack & Danielle at EarthPlanter - and as you can see, the planters are still just as beautiful as the day they arrived two years ago! Next time you're out to play a few holes or to grab a bite to eat, be sure to take a moment to walk around the clubhouse and stop to admire and smell the flowers while they're still here! And, if you happen to see Karen pruning away, be sure to tell her thank you for her part in keeping Carroll National looking good!

Saturday evening of the Golf & Music Festival brought an amazing performance by Purple Piano (Marshall Charloff) and a special time to recognize this year's recipient of the Wayne Chandlee Award and to pay tribute to Nick's brother, Steve Nurse, with a moving duet of "Sometimes It Snows in April" by Nick and Marshall.
