Introducing Krave Carrboro’s newest social media initiative: Cutest Krave Dog of the Week! 🐶 🐕

This week we introduce Shikamaru. He is a certified cutie patootie who is quirky and can often be found in his owners lap during a particularly aggressive game of Catan. Shikamaru tends to be a little shy, but when you win him over, he loves the pets and attention!

His favorite treat is chicken, and he encourages everyone to come to Krave and drink more kava!!

In Hawaii, Kava, know locally as ‘awa, is a sacred, medicinal, culturally significant plant used in religious ceremonies, political gatherings, and peacekeeping efforts. In the indigenous communities of the Pacifc Islands, kava is often used to boost social bonding and foster community. 🌊🌊

✨ Krave uses tiki masks in our decor to pay tribute to the cultural groups in which Kava orginiates! Next time you see a tiki mask at your Krave location, take a moment to honor the power that kava brings in building our local community and fostering social connections. ✨
