This year’s crop is better than ever, with sweet notes of caramel, plum and peach. Its smooth body and lush acidity create a harmonious cup that is simply delicious.

Jose Arnold Paz Mejia - La Perla - Catuai

Named after his mother, this coffee has amazing flavors of sweet tangerine and spiced plum. It has a lush body and honey sweetness.

This month we are celebrating our producer-partner Francisco Moran, of Finca San Francisco in Honduras!

Francisco learned the coffee growing culture from his father Sr. Eulalio Moran who dedicated his life to growing coffee since 1950. In 1955, his father bought a small property called La Pedrera (Rocky land) and began growing Pacas and Bourbón varietals. They soon purchased another property to grow more coffee, and he fell in love with it.

Quality has always been a priority. In the early 2000s, the farmers were pioneers when it came to organic farming techniques.

Our President and coffee buyer Scott Conary first had Francisco’s coffee at the Honduras Cup of Excellence event. Soon after, he met with Francisco to see if he would be willing to work with Carrboro Coffee for the rest of the crop.

Fast forward to years later, we are proud to serve Francisco Moran – Finca San Francisco coffee! All of Francisco’s hard work is evident in this wonderfully sweet coffee with notes of citrus and peach that has a creamy caramel base, with a full body and mouthfeel.

We are honored to be the exclusive coffee provider of PBS NC and are thrilled to celebrate their network's latest milestone in children's programming.

It's PBS North Carolina tenth anniversary of Rootle, a 24/7 PBS KIDS channel!

Rootle supports families across North Carolina with free, enriching media content and resources that prepare children for school and life.

Rootle’s reach in all 100 North Carolina counties is also made possible by in-person community events, educational initiatives and local partnerships.

We have collaborated with the organization to make the "Roo's Brew" a coffee with notes of dark chocolate, citrus & spice.

The local PBS team deserves delicious coffee for their efforts and we are so glad to supply it!

We’re thrilled to support the Chapel Hill High School Football team by donating our Blue Ridge coffee blend for the Train Like A Tiger event this weekend!

This local event offers the community a chance to meet the team and coaches, run through training exercises, and help get the team excited for the season ahead.
