Welcome to the Team, Braden! 🍽️
We are thrilled to introduce the newest face at our Bistro, Braden Hernandez!
Braden joined us this past Monday, the 11th, and is already making a great impression as our new busser. When he isn't helping us keep the dining room running smoothly, you’ll find him at Hollister High School where he is a standout junior and the starting varsity running back. 🏈

Braden is a driven student-athlete with big goals. He’s an aspiring environmental scientist with dreams of playing football at the collegiate level. We’re so proud to support him as he works toward his future, and we look forward to watching him grow from busser to waiter during his time with us!

Some people grow into a role…others are raised in it.
Kelly Jane is the daughter of Fiork, and has been part of Bistro Giovanni since the very beginning, learning the rhythm of the restaurant as a kid, growing up alongside it, and becoming one of the most familiar and welcoming faces in Carmel.
For many guests, she’s the first smile when they walk through the door…and the reason they feel instantly at home.
What started as helping her family has become something more, a true reflection of what this place is all about:

Introducing La Giovanni House Wines:
The 2021 vintage was truly unique. A second consecutive year of drought in Napa and Sonoma Counties resulted in low yields, producing small, intensely flavored berries. Red wine harvesting began early, in the last week of August, during a swift and uninterrupted season.
While the dry conditions required careful management, they placed a natural, balanced load on the vines, requiring less pruning and fruit-dropping. These tight, flavor-packed clusters resulted in one of the most highly-rated and exceptional vintages of the decade.
