Fun little Jack Skellington cake for tomorrow! Pro tip: if you want to decorate with black frosting, try chocolate ganache instead. This is only two drops of black gel color, vs about 10-15 in buttercream (which then turns your teeth, tongue, lips, fingers... EVERYTHING black when you eat it). Plus, it's chocolate ganache. That's never a bad thing. 😉

Oh heeeeeey y'all, I might be back in action finally! In order to make my grand reentrance into the cake biz I bring you my new Thanksgiving creation: the sweet potato cake with pecan praline streusel, and toasted vanilla marshmallow frosting. 😍😍😍😍 It's giving me alllllll the Thanksgiving feels! Think sweet potato casserole...but it's ACTUALLY dessert instead of pretending to be a side dish! This will be available for orders throughout the holidays! $50 for an 8" cake or 24 cupcakes. 🦃😘

I think this is the third year that I've made birthday cupcakes for Mike and Kim. Every year they ask for the same thing, every year I'm surprised they want the same thing, then I taste it and I'm like, "Yeah...this is the best cake I make." Chocolate cake, coconut cream cheese frosting, and (last year's addition and OMG it's like CRACK) toasted coconut caramel pecan filling. 😍😍😍😍 happy birthday Mike and Kim!!

Saw a post the other day advertising 's Dole Whip donut (thanks !!) and suddenly I HAD to make it into a cupcake. Luckily my mom had already placed an order for Wednesday, and she lets me try new recipes out. This. Is. So. Good. Pineapple cupcake, toasted coconut marshmallow cream frosting. This will for SURE be a new standard!!! 🍍🥥

Fact: my son's favorite movies right now are ALL from the 80s or 90s. Return of the Jedi, Goonies, Ghostbusters, and Home Alone (1 AND 2). So when I heard that another five year old had a similar affinity for the classics I was just so excited. I hope Miss A loves her Royal Cupcakes for her Princess Bride party! Double chocolate with edible gold glitter and sprinkles, and Lemon-Vanilla with sugar pearls. 😍

Cake tasting for a September wedding today! Bride and groom are major chocolate lovers, so we're doing chocolate cake, cookie fudge filling, chocolate Swiss meringue buttercream, with traditional vanilla around the outside of the cake. SO yum 😍
