I am no longer in charge of or affiliated with the coffee program at Division Street Coffee Co. You can still get all your favorite drinks at the shop, and I encourage you to support the new management team. In the meantime, I’ll be back on my BS grind. Today you can find me walking around Carbondale with restaurant resumés in hand. (Hire me?)

The cat’s out of the bag! It’s official announcement time: I have accepted a bar manager position at the new brick and mortar Carterville coffee shop . I’ve been working on this project for the last month, and we are nearing our soft open. We’re expecting our espresso machine to be installed next week, at which point I’ll begin training our baristas, and serving you tasty drinks! We will be open soon 🎉

What does this mean for the Black Sheep brand? Frankly, it’s going on the back burner for a while. I am fully committed to this new opportunity, my goal being to make the shop a successful and valuable addition to the budding So IL coffee scene. That being said, I will continue posting my R&D projects on this page. Please stay tuned, and give Division Street Coffee Co. a like while you’re at it. We will announce our soft open dates soon!
