Summer throws off more routines than it creates, between travel, family time, and less structured routines.

Most meal prep plans don’t survive that.

Fit AF is built for it.

Fresh, fully prepared meals delivered weekly, with no extra steps. So even when your schedule changes, your nutrition doesn’t have to.

When people think fat loss, they usually focus on the one hour they spend in the gym.

But what about the other 23 hours?

Because that’s where a lot of progress is won or lost.

The walk after dinner.
Taking the stairs.
Parking farther away.
Getting up from your desk.
Moving your body even when it’s not “workout time.”

Those things may not feel impressive, but they add up fast.

And for a lot of people, increasing daily movement is the missing piece between working hard and actually seeing results.

This week’s challenge is simple:

👉 10,000+ steps per day
OR
👉 An intentional active recovery day

Not because walking is magic.

Because consistency is.

Walking helps you burn more calories, recover better, manage stress, and stay in the game without feeling beat up.

And unlike another hard workout, you can do it almost every single day.

So don’t overcomplicate this week.

Hit your workout.
Hit your protein.
Take the walk.

Then do it again tomorrow.

The basics still work. You just have to keep doing them.

How many steps are you averaging right now? Drop your number below 👇

Week 6...
This is usually the point where people start noticing a difference.

Not because they found the perfect workout.
Not because they cut carbs.
Not because they did a detox.

Because they’ve been showing up consistently for weeks.

And honestly? This is also where a lot of people quit.

The excitement wears off.
The scale slows down.
Results aren’t happening as fast as they hoped.

So they convince themselves it’s not working.

But what most people don’t realize is that visible results are often delayed.

Your body is changing before you can fully see it.
Your habits are improving before your confidence catches up.
And the work you’re doing today is creating the results you’ll see in the coming weeks.

That’s why Week 6 isn’t about doing more.

It’s about executing the basics better.

✔️ Hit your workouts
✔️ Hit your protein
✔️ Hit your fiber
✔️ Get your steps

No fancy tricks.
No starting over.
No looking for a shortcut.

Just another week of stacking wins.

Because the people who get the results are usually the ones willing to keep doing the boring stuff long after everyone else quits.

This week’s topic wasn’t really about cravings.

It was about awareness.

Because a lot of you are finally realizing:
the nighttime eating, the snacking, the “starting over tomorrow” cycle…
usually isn’t happening because you’re lazy or undisciplined.

It’s happening because your body and brain are exhausted.

Under-eating all day.
Trying to “be good.”
Living off caffeine.
Running on stress.
Ignoring hunger signals.
Then expecting yourself to feel calm and in control around food at night.

That’s not how biology works.

And honestly?
Some of you probably noticed this week how automatic your patterns became.

Long day → snack
Stress → pantry
Overwhelmed → cravings

Not because you’re broken.
Because your brain learned a coping pattern.

But this week, you practiced interrupting it.

Maybe not perfectly.
But even pausing for 60 seconds before reacting is a massive shift.

Because awareness creates choice.
And choice is what starts changing habits long term.

Some cravings need food.
Some cravings need regulation.
Some cravings need rest.

Learning the difference is the real skill.

And THAT is how you stop feeling out of control around food. 💪

Coffee all morning.
Barely eating all day.
Trying to be “good.”
Ignoring hunger.
Running on stress and willpower.

Then suddenly…
the cravings hit hard at night and it feels impossible to stop eating.

That’s not you failing.

That’s your body trying to protect you.

Because when your brain feels under-fueled, stressed, and depleted…
it starts looking for QUICK energy.

And that’s why nighttime eating feels so intense.

This week we’re focusing on regulation instead of restriction.

👉 Slowing down
👉 Fueling properly
👉 Eating enough protein
👉 Breaking the all-or-nothing cycle

Pause for 60 seconds before reacting to a craving.

Not to ignore it.
To understand it.

Then:
✔️ add protein
✔️ add fiber
✔️ stabilize first

Small habit.
Massive shift.

05/28/2026

Most people think cravings mean they “lack discipline.”

But honestly?
A lot of cravings are your body trying to get your attention.

Not because you’re broken.
Not because you need more willpower.
But because your body is under-fueled, overstimulated, stressed, exhausted… or stuck in a cycle of restriction and rebound eating.

This is exactly why being “good all day” usually backfires at night.

Skipping meals.
Barely eating protein.
Running on caffeine and stress.
Ignoring hunger signals.

Then wondering why the pantry suddenly feels impossible to resist at 9 pm.

Your body wants stability. Not punishment.

So this week inside Summer Ready AF, we’re practicing something simple:
👉 pause before reacting

Just 60 seconds.

And instead of immediately spiraling into guilt or overeating, ask:
“Am I actually hungry… or am I overwhelmed?”

Then:
✔️ add protein
✔️ add fiber
✔️ slow down
✔️ regulate first

Because food control doesn’t come from extremes.

It comes from understanding your body well enough to respond instead of react. 💪

Meal prep usually starts with good intentions.

A full Sunday. A grocery haul. A plan that feels solid. And then real life happens.

That’s why convenience matters more than effort.

With Fit AF, the prep is already done with one weekly delivery. The variety is built in. The consistency doesn’t depend on your schedule being perfect.

You just stay on track without having to constantly restart.
