It feels so strange we weren’t at the Franklin-Southampton County Fair cooking our hearts out for the community we love. But as you all know, we closed our business due to health issues, and our food truck is now all the way in Maine where our daughter keeps at it.
But we did stop by the fairgrounds today for a little fun and food. Of course Tino loved the magicians and the rides, even conviced me to join him on the Ferris wheel, I got my turkey leg, and even found Queen Madison! ❤️
We hope you made it out at least one day to support our county fair!!!

We didn’t feel like cooking dinner so we picked Italian and tried a new spot Joe's Pizza & Pasta Palace. The boys kept it simple with pasta and a burger, but I had a Steak Roll!!! This was the medium size and I already had a slice on my plate. Needless to say I couldn’t finish it, but it is DELICIOUS! If you miss the Farm Fed Cheesesteaks, go get you one of these rolls!! You will love every bite guaranteed! We miss you all! 🫶🏼

I just have no words to describe the joy we felt today while visiting Harvest Market at Oozlefinch. We missed all our friends so much. Got all the fresh veggies from Liliana’s Produce, and bbq sauce from Hungershop Condiments, and bread from L’s Sourdough, and drinks from Mane Events VA, and candles from Peanut City Candle Co. and goodies from Crunch On Snacks.
We had the best dinner in a long time, our tummies and hearts are full! ❤️

I know so many of you have been following our family for a few years now and you know about all our health struggles. I wanted to let you all know my old grumpy man is recovering well after his triple bypass surgery. He’s been miserable for far too long, and I am so thankful we can look forward to brighter days.
Please pray for him to regain his strength quick so we can go back to our homestead and eat blueberries and eggs and bone broth!

I stepped out to eat my breakfast, and WOW💥
Do you know the amount of empowerement 🙌🏻you receive when you look around and see that the Earth keeps on going?? 🌎💫

Which means so can you🫵🏼

I saw a deer, 3 rabbits, bunch of squierrels and heard many many birds.

Talk about complete brain reset 🫯 and energy refill.⚡️

We turned the fryers off and stepped out of the food truck, but I really want to make this page a valuable resource for our community.

We’ve been focusing on restoring our health these past months, and we realized we had moved too far away from the mission that started both the farm and the food truck. We need to regroup and rechannel.

But for now, I’m really enjoying the rain. I’ve dreaded “bad” weather for so many years, but living out here has taught me that the storms we fight are often the very things that water our growth.

05/01/2026

Four years ago today, we cooked and served for the first time in our food truck. I still remember that day. The anticipation, the excitement, the unknown, the challenge, the triumph!🥳

Today, we announce the permanent closure of our business and operations.🥹

Running the truck — just like the farm before it — has been one of the greatest adventures of our lives. We faced storms, breakdowns, long days, and crazy rushes… and we wouldn’t trade a single one. Every obstacle taught us something, and not many people get to say they fed their community from a little red trailer with a big heart. What we’ll miss most is you.🫶🏼
Your smiles at the window, your kind words on tough days, the regulars who became friends, and the new faces who quickly felt like family. Serving you has been an honor and a joy we’ll carry with us always.🥹

So this isn’t really “goodbye” — it’s “thank you.” 👏🏻
Thank you for every order, every share, every tag, every rainy day you still showed up. You made this dream real, and we’re forever grateful.❤️

Our food truck itself will now be run by our daughter all the way up in Maine. We are so proud of her for taking on such an endeavor—it certainly isn’t for the faint of heart! Please join us in praying for a successful business journey!🙌🏻 🥹
