Brook Venable believed Cape Girardeau needed a sandwich shop, so she decided to make it happen. Relish Sandwich Bar + Social Club started as an idea and quickly became a community favorite, earning the title of Cape Girardeau’s #1 sandwich shop two years in a row.
From creative weekly specials inspired by the season to classic sandwiches made with care. Brook and her family are focused on one thing: serving great food and giving back to the community they’re proud to call home.

Cape Girardeau County, we truly don’t know how to thank you enough.

For the second year in a row, you’ve voted Relish the #1 Sandwich Shop, and somehow, this one feels even sweeter.

We are incredibly proud of our staff. They show up, work hard, care about the little things, and bring the personality and heart that make Relish what it is. We could never do this without them.

But most of all, we owe this to you — our customers.

You’re the ones who walk through our doors, bring your friends and families, order your favorites over and over, try our sometimes-crazy creations, share our posts, tell people about us, and continue to choose this little sandwich shop.

There are a lot of places you could spend your money and your time, and the fact that you continue to spend some of it with us is something we will never take for granted.

Relish was built to be more than a place to grab a sandwich. We wanted it to be a place you wanted to come to — and you all have made it exactly that.
