This one isn’t easy to write 💔

After a lot of thought, we’ve made the decision to close Lake Day Cafe affective immediately.

From day one, this place has been about more than just food. It’s been about community, conversations, familiar faces, and all the little moments in between.

We’ve watched friendships grow, families gather, and so many of you become part of our everyday lives—and for that, we are forever grateful.

Thank you for supporting us, showing up for us, and being part of this journey. It has meant more than we could ever put into words. 💛

🚨TEMPORARILY CLOSED🚨

Due to a water issue affecting the entire strip, we are temporarily closed until further notice.

The health department has advised that our water and ice cannot be used until the well is repaired and the water has been tested and approved.

We are hoping repairs are completed tomorrow and look forward to reopening as soon as we receive clearance.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. We can’t wait to serve you again soon!💛

We’re so sorry for the long wait times this morning. We appreciate everyone’s patience while our short-staffed team did their best.

Due to staffing issues, we will be CLOSING AT 2pm and have a limited menu the till 2pm. Thank you for your understanding and for supporting our little restaurant. 💛

This morning definitely didn’t go the way we hoped. We know your time is valuable, and we appreciate every single person who chose to be patient and stick with us today. We also understand if the wait was frustrating.

Thank you for your grace as we worked through a tough unexpected understaffed morning. We’ll learn from today and do everything we can to make sure tomorrow is a much smoother experience.
