Good Morning my Goombah's.

My guy who went up to Connecticut, his father passed monday night and wont be back in town until Friday night so until Saturday we are 1 crucial man short until then which means I have to pace and control the amount of orders we can take in so things dont get out of hand and everyone still gets the quality they expect from us. A few days and we will be back to rocking and rolling.

On a good note during this 2 week break something special happened, a god send if you will. Something that the vast majority of people that have been following us for awhile have been dying for. Im not going to necessarily announce exactly what that is yet until all of the T's are crossed and I's are dotted with everyone that would be affected by it, but its happening.

A new era of The Goombah will commence fairly shortly. 🤌🏼

Good morning my Goombies.
I've been thinking of a professional way to go about this but im better at getting straight to the point.

We will have to close for the next 2 weeks. Tuesday Aug 4th to Tuesday Aug 18th we will be back open Wed Aug 19th.

One of our team members father is on his way out to a better place so he had to get an emergency flight to Connecticut this morning.

Another one of our team has health issues and has fought through it to help us keep chugging along with the huge amount of growth we've received as of late.

And lastly last weekend we had 2 cooling units fail us which ended up being the compressors at literally the same time coincidentally so those will have to be replaced.

All of these matters popping up will make it impossible for us to operate until everything is fixed and or dealt with.

With that being said. Any prior obligations as far as scheduled pre orders whether small or large will still be taken care of and made. I gave you all my word that we will get it done and thats what I intend on doing. But as far as continuing to operate without the necessary hands in their pivotal positions it is just impossible.

Im going to use this time to work on finding a sit down location everyone has been dying for. No guarantees though as times are much different and the haydays of just going and getting a bank loan arent quite that easy anymore but I will try my best to get it to all come together.

My apologies to everyone but sometimes... life... you know?

Good morning everyone.
Everything should be back to normal today. I will try my best to make it through the weekend.
I dont want to get into detail about what happened but just know its a minor injury but its unfortunately an injury that makes it hard for me to do our pizzas the way we do it.
Im going to let my team take the wheel tonight and I will be right there in case I need to jump in and help.
With that being said we will have to keep door dash shut off tonight so things dont get too out of hand, so if you live outside our delivery zone pick up is the only option.
This is something I anticipate will be fully healed in just a few days so next week will be back to business as usual.

Goombah is looking into expand our team. We need full time people that can work the oven, top pizzas, hopefully someone that can adhere to how we stretch our dough and phone and expo help.
Pay is $18 to $25 depending on talent, knowledge, and the more you take off of Goombahs plate the more you get paid.
I need reliable people with a good attitude that can take direction and constructive criticism.
This is a place you can learn, grow, and flourish if you have the right mindset. Hiring immediately.

Sorry everyone we sold out for the evening.

P.S. Just want to throw this out there for those that can't seem to grasp the concept...

There is only so much a smaller operation can manage to prep in a day. To add to that, there is only so much any operation can store in their refrigeration.
If you're someone that degrades food service workers of any capacity, to me, you are the scum of the earth.
For those that called and yelled or laughed and degraded us for telling you we sold out, your numbers have been blocked. There's a special place waiting for you. When I see you there we can discuss some things. 🤌🏼

A hill I'm willing to die on:

Pizza is better without cheese.
Everyone will have an opinion about this but it is an objective truth.
The more cheese you put, the more it kills the structural integrity of what Pizzaiolos take days to create which is our dough.
Pretentious outlook? Perhaps.
Sometimes the truth seems pretentious. 🤌🏼

Ayo Goombah's

Im always posting about our pizza but I think its time we start making posts about some of our other items.

Our cheesesteaks can go toe to toe with the best because we use real Sirloin while most places use marinated mystery meat. Yes even your favorite places. (Dont ask me who I wont tell you)

We also use the classic Cooper cheese which is mandatory to make it right.

And put it all on your choice of 12" non seeded Amoroso rolls or 12" Liscious seeded rolls

These are the markers of a great cheesesteak. Btw im having one now. 🤌🏼

We also have our Chicken Parms back in stock which is also a winner but ill save the details there for another day.
