12 years ago we had our official Ribbon Cutting ceremony. It was such a difficult day to get through without my biggest supporter, my Dad. This first picture captures so many emotions all in one shot. Everytime I see it I get filled with happiness, sadness, pride and joy. Looking back now knowing how sick my mom was just kills me. You would never know looking at this picture that her body was filled with cancer.

I miss my parents more than anything but their love lives on at Zirilli's. Knowing their hands and love helped build Zirilli's brings me so much peace.

Remember tomorrow isn't promised to any of us. So live life to the fullest, tell those that you love for how much they mean. Forgive those who hurt you. Be kind to everyone, you never know what someone is going through.

September is always a difficult month. It is always our slowest month and ends with a day that forever changed my life.
12 years ago today, my mom called to tell me my dad had fallen and was on his way to the hospital.
Although he "lived" for 3 more months in a vegetative state, today is the day I lost him. I am filled with so many emotions today. I was so blessed to have amazing parents who loved and supported me always. I just wish we would've had more time.
So take time today to validate and appreciate the people in your life. Do something kind for a stranger, you truly never know what someone is going through. Your kindness could make the difference in their day.
