We are seeking an experienced Line Cook to join our talented team and help prepare meals according to our standard recipes. In this position, your principal goal will be to prepare high-quality meals that meet the chef’s exact specifications.

You will be responsible for setting up the prep station, stocking inventory, and maintaining sanitation standards. To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and multi-tasking skills. Ultimately, you will play an essential role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and restaurant growth.

Responsibilities for Line Cook

Prepare ingredients then cook and assemble dishes as indicated by recipes

Perform portion control and minimize waste to keep the cost within forecasted range

Ensure that all dishes are prepared in a timely manner by restocking ingredients at work station and meeting prep times to ensure smooth delivery

Set up and clean station according to restaurant protocol

Maintain a clean workstation area, including kitchen equipment, tables, and shelves

Comply with applicable sanitary, health, and personal hygiene standards

Ensure quality and freshness of ingredients and products

Perform additional tasks as assigned by the line supervisor, sous-chef, or executive chef

Qualifications for Line Cook

High School Diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree preferred

1-3 years of experience cooking in a restaurant, hotel, or resort

Understanding of cooking methods and procedures, and knife handling skills

Ability to perform tasks with accuracy, speed, and attention to detail

Ability to read and follow cooking directions

Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment

Must be organized and self-motivated

Must be able to stand, bend, stretch, and lift, and carry heavy material

Our busy restaurant prides itself on providing excellent customer service, and we need a passionate Dining Room Manager to ensure that our guests receive the best dining experience possible. You will be responsible for ensuring the dining room is ready for each meal service and motivating staff to be attentive and friendly throughout their shift. When necessary, you will also need to resolve any issues customers may have with their food or experience. You will monitor expenses and create daily sales summary reports and other accounting records.

Tasks:
- Take reservations and plan dining room layout to accommodate predicted number of guests
- Respond to customer feedback about food and service
- Facilitate communication between the dining area and the kitchen
- Hire, train, and supervise front-of-house staff; enforce dining room policies
- Oversee customer service, making sure customers are greeted, orders taken, and receive proper service
- Have excellent leadership skills to build strong teams
- Create daily expense reports and sales summaries
- Examine the dining room before each meal service and ensure it is ready with all the necessary supplies

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of work experience in a high volume, full-service restaurant
- Extensive knowledge of front-of-house operations, including the financial aspects
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Flexible schedule

We are looking for a dedicated, organized dishwasher who enjoys working as part of a team in a fast-paced culinary environment. Duties include removing soiled plates and flatware from tables, washing them thoroughly, and resetting tables in preparation for the next party. This team member may also restock items, unload delivery trucks, help prepare cook stations, clean appliances and machines, empty and clean trash receptacles, and other duties as needed.

To be successful as a dishwasher, you should be a committed, communicative team player with excellent time management skills. You should also be able to prioritize tasks in a busy setting and adhere to all food safety regulations and procedures.

Responsibilities for Dishwasher

Scrape, rinse, and load dishes and utensils into dish machine

Wash and sanitize all pans, utensils, and dishes

Clean, sanitize, and maintain dish machine

Unload dishes and utensils from dish machine and organize them properly

Empty trash containers regularly

Maintain a clean work area and kitchen by sweeping and mopping as needed

Perform additional cleaning duties as requested

Clean food prep stations and equipment

Qualifications for Dishwasher

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred

Restaurant or customer service experience preferred

Ability to obtain and maintain a food handler certification card

Must be able to stand continuously throughout an 8 hour shift

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Comfortable bending, climbing, reaching, stooping, and moving quickly

Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Working knowledge of sanitation procedures

Ability to read, write, and speak in English

Due to staff shortages beyond our control we will be closing kitchen services at The Coach House Tavern at 3PM today. There will still be drink services until 5PM. We will resume normal operating hours on Thursday June 3 from 9AM – 8PM. We appreciate your patience while we work to grow our team.

The Coach House Tavern will be closed today, Saturday April 10th for regular dine in brunch services while we take care of our golfers in the Play ‘em All tournament. We will resume normal dinner service at 5pm. We appreciate your patronage and Patience.
