Very well said! We work extremely hard to make sure everyone is taken care of and this is a review we tend to get as well.

A little small business PSA 🤍🍕

I don’t normally address negative reviews publicly. If someone has a bad experience, I genuinely want to hear about it, figure out what happened, and make it right.

But I do want to address something that I think is worth talking about.

We are a small, locally owned pizza shop. We don’t have a call center. We have one phone line and a small crew who may simultaneously be taking an order, helping a customer at the counter, cutting pizzas, boxing food, running orders, cleaning, stocking, or doing one of the hundred other things it takes to keep this little shop moving.

Sometimes, we miss a phone call because we are on the line with another customer.

It doesn’t mean we’re closed. It doesn’t mean our employees are standing around ignoring you. And it certainly doesn’t mean they don’t care about our customers.

Friday night, we received a 2-star review at 8:01 PM because a call went unanswered. We were open. Our posted hours were correct. Our employees were there working, and we remained open until 10 PM.

I will ALWAYS hold my team accountable when they need to be held accountable. But I will also always stand up for them when they deserve it. These kids and young adults work hard. They juggle phones, customers, ovens, online orders, dishes, dough, toppings, cleaning and everything in between, often during busy Friday and Saturday nights.

If you call and we don’t answer, please try us again. Chances are, we’re helping another customer and simply couldn’t get to the phone before it stopped ringing or were on the other line. We do our absolute best to make sure a call isn’t missed, but it can happen.

We’re human. We’re a small business. And while we will always work to give our community great service, sometimes a phone call is going to get missed.

We appreciate grace in those moments. 🤍
