Introducing The Meg. 💜
This month, we’re raising a glass in memory of a truly remarkable woman and a pillar of our Cherokee County community.
Meg Rogers dedicated 30 years of her life to the Cherokee Domestic Violence Center, serving as its director and devoting herself to supporting and protecting those affected by domestic violence. She passed away on Monday, and we wanted to honor her legacy in a way that continues the work she cared so deeply about.
The Meg is an Old Fashioned with a Pinot Noir floater — a cocktail created in her memory and available throughout the month of October.
In honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, a percentage of the proceeds from every Meg sold will be donated to the Cherokee Domestic Violence Center.
This one is especially close to our hearts. Meg’s daughter was part of our original Queenie's qrew and spent many years working with us, making her family a part of the Queenie’s family for a very long time.
So this month, we’ll raise a glass to Meg — to her life, her legacy, and the countless lives she touched through 30 years of service.
Please join us in raising a glass to a woman who gave so much to our community.
