Monday night plans? Cheese, of course. 🧀
Last night, I had the opportunity to attend Curated Cuisine: Artisan Cheese in New England hosted by WBUR CitySpace, and it was such an inspiring evening.
Listening to New England cheesemakers share their stories reminded me that great food is about so much more than what ends up on the plate. It’s about craftsmanship, community, collaboration, and a deep passion for creating something meaningful.
From learning about the artisan cheesemaking movement in the U.S. to hearing how these makers support one another and their local communities, I walked away even more appreciative of the incredible cheeses being made right here in our own backyard.
A special treat? Tasting cheeses from Mystic Cheese (CT), Parish Hill Creamery (VT), and Lakin’s Gorges Cheese (ME), paired with wine samples from Domaine Travelle.
As someone who works with cheese every day, I love continuing to learn from the people behind the products. There’s always a story behind every wheel, wedge, and bite—and that’s what makes food so special.
