This is a poem I wrote for a very special person
Your Purple Knight
When darkness sweeps over the land,
As the sun leaves the moon to stand guard till daybreak,
I will stand guard while you sleep, my dream lover.
I will stand at your door,
And slay your dragons,
Chase away your demons,
And every monster on the floor.
I will summon my chariot, driven by unicorns,
And fly you to a far-away place,
Where you can gaze quietly at the tulips,
As a gentle breeze caresses your face.
I will hold you till the moon falls behind the sun,
And daybreak, God's painting, shows its beautiful face.
