Good afternoon everyone!

In the heat of things, please forgive me for not giving a proper update, with everything going on, it slipped my mind (somehow haha!).

After a lot of complications and months long wait, we finally got her down for her surgery recently this month (it truly has been a process and we are so glad it finally happened), and we are in the 6-8 week recovery phase!

We've been giving thought about how we're going to open back up, and if everything goes to plan, we hope to be back to you very soon when she's healed, we just want to ensure she has no problems getting back in there.

We truly appreciate the love and support, we are so blessed to have been put in Cameron Texas, please forgive me for my negligence, I'll stay up to date for you all.

Thank you to those who have messaged us, called us and everything in between!

Good evening everybody.

As alot of you have noticed, we've been closed alot lately, morning, night, evening etc.

We are deeply sorry for not informing you sooner but we wanted to be sure whe had all of the information first.

Lately, Drea has been experiencing some pretty bad pains and due to an emergency visit at the hospital, she'll have to undergo surgery that will have her out of commission for multiple weeks.

We thank each and every one of you for all your love and support, and as the owner of this account, my priority is making sure my mom is okay, and I'm glad they've found the problem and are able to fix it.

We do not want to be closed for the entire duration of her recovery, (hopefully), and I hope this doesn't lead to us having to close down.

I will keep you all updated on here, and we once again, thank you for all of your love and support, we don't know what we'd do without you.

Good Morning yall!

We are open today with something delicious for the cold weather.

We got some Beef Stew or Chicken and Dumpling, both should be ready around 12pm!

Hope yall have had an amazing holiday and are staying warm.

We've decided to implement the rule of closing our lobby and hour early as to stay on track with cleaning (but we still accept to-go orders.)

We are open today with a chicken and dressing special, with some greens, sweet potatoes, black eye peas, and cornbread.

We have peach cobbler for dessert, and we got some red velvet and yellow cake as well!

Yall come on by to bring in the new year right with black eye peas fro good luck and greens for money.

We are open today until 9, with no special.

We will not be opening Christmas day, and will open later on the day after Christmas, with no special as well.

We will be open for New Years Eve and New Years day, and go on to our regular scheduling.

Good evening everybody, we had a small incident happen today, and we'll be out of commission until further notice.

There was a situation with the gas and due to regulation, the meter had to be pulled so hopefully we'll be back open very soon.

I will keep everyone updated as soon as possibleas to when the doors will be back open.

After the craziness of Thanksgiving we are officially back on our regular schedule.

Today we have chicken and dumplings or baked country style ribs w/greens and pinto beans.

Open every day except Monday.

Tues-Sat: 8-9
Sunday: 8-6

Our phone is now working again, after a long time of being out, so feel free to give us a call.

Thank you all for all of the love and blessings, we hope everyone enjoyed their free meals. We gave out about 300-350 plates and we hope to be giving out way more next year!
