We love great coffee and espresso; healthy, simple food; and meaningful conversation. We believe in supporting local businesses and farms, making earth-friendly choices, and above all, promoting friendship, community, and human connection.

This Labor Day, I am reflecting on a busy summer and autumn still approaching…

Our hardworking, smart, & unique crew of baristas (some not pictured) led Zoot through thick and thin every day this summer. We proved Gen Z can run a coffee shop and have a good time at it, too!

I am grateful for the big moments, like the busiest day of the summer on a random August Saturday feeling like a seamless breeze, and the little moments like someone silently and swiftly handing me the cinnamon shaker to finish a drink before I’d even thought about adding the cinnamon.

The little moments make the big moments possible and I am so proud of the level of teamwork this crew exemplifies! Without them there would be no Zoot.

Today is Zoot’s TWENTIETH birthday! Yes, twenty years ago, on July 11, 2006, we opened our doors for the first time, and we’ve been humming along ever since ☕️ 🎂 💫

This photo is of me — Isabel — at Zoot as a brand new barista, summer of 2014. I was absolutely in love with everything about Zoot! ❤️

I’m honored to have grown alongside the business through the prior twelve years and doubly thrilled to shepherd us into the next decade and beyond!
