A friendly reminder that our fresh masa is ground in-house weekly! Made fresh from locally grown corn, our masa is vacuum sealed so it’s ready whenever you are 🌽 You can it up in store or at the Brookline Farmers' Market - and keep an eye on our stories for the color of the week 💙💛🤍

It’s almost Rosh Hashanah! To give us a sweet start to the Jewish New Year, Teddy’s mom came over to bake honey cake, a rich, chewy cake full of honey and topped with almonds. It’s limited edition - we’ll have it until it’s gone! 🍯

It’s a big day for us here at Elmendorf! Today is the first day we can say that all of our pastries are made in-house with 100% fresh milled flour 🎉 It was a long road to get here (figuring out the croissants alone took a year and a half, and is still kind of a work in progress) but we’re incredibly proud of the hard work and dedication that brought us to this point 🫶

A massive congratulations to the winner of this year’s professional baking competition, breadboard_bakery! Daisy and the Breadboard team now hold two Grand Prix titles (2024 and 2026) and they are very well deserved. And we can’t forget our wonderful runner-up, Steel & Rye Bakery, and their delicious sourdough boule! Thank you to all of the incredible bakeries who submitted their sourdough this year - each and every one is a must-try, so make sure to visit and try them for yourselves!
