WOW, what a weekend! My little business was fortunate enough to be part of the The Country Living Fair in Rhinebeck this past weekend. It was a wild ride, to say the least. When Emi Duggan and I arrived at our designated spot last Thursday to set up the trailer, we immediately texted The House Wren 🎶🎺🎧 to say, “We’re going to need more cups!” We had no idea how many people would flock to our little horse trailer to order coffee. Needless to say, we served over 3,000 beverages over the weekend. It was beyond crazy and wonderful, and I am so grateful for the experience.
I had the pleasure of meeting some amazing people, including Rachel Hardage Barrett, Saska Graville, Annie Sloan, and Pantry Hill. I fan-girled over Jenni Yolo | I SPY DIY, Kiel James Patrick, Sarah Patrick, and many others. I also reconnected with my dear friends Ben Ashby, Jared Alexander Barton, Elizabeth, and Ethan from Cheap Old Houses ™—and so many more! I truly loved this experience: the people we met, the fashion, and the energy. Everything was absolutely amazing. Through nonstop movement and coffee orders, my little team and I made it all happen.
This was the largest event we’ve ever done with this little horse trailer, and she truly was a workhorse. Thank you, Country Living , for giving me this incredible experience. It’s something I will never forget. I am so humbled and overjoyed to be part of something so wonderful and beautiful. As a mother and a business owner I am so proud of myself and to show my girls, that if you want something you work hard and go after it. Returning to the shop, I have a newfound appreciation for this little spot in Cambridge and all the wonderful possibilities that can come from it. From the bottom of my heart, thank you 💕 -xo Casey
