We have some home grown watermelons today!! Rowdy Jones brought them in this morning! And he brought the strangest looking cantaloupe I've ever seen. Anyone know about this kind of cantaloupe? I am thinking it's not a cantaloupe!!

Our store played host to the Ministry of Hospitality workshop last night, a component of the Crafted to Grow Faith program. Thirteen ladies participated in the workshop, learning about serving others through creative projects and discussions. The activities included making simple centerpieces and dish drying mat baskets, as well as brainstorming ideas for welcome baskets and stress-free family dinners. A small loaf of banana bread was presented to each guest, along with a challenge to extend hospitality to someone in the upcoming month.

August is a long month and this year it is a hot month! Come to Granny's Garden today where it is cool. We can have a cold drink and talk about Winter!! lol And you can shop in our many new vendor's booths!

I preparing for a workshop tonight so just in case you can't come, you can come by and check out what we are going to do! The Ministry of Hospitality!
