Juniper's Back Door at 131 Main Street in the Historic Business District of Calico Rock, Arkansas is a Restaurant/Private Club. We feature a family friendly atmosphere steeped in the rich history of The Ozarks, Izard County, and Calico Rock. ay, as befits a speakeasy door hiding in plain sight, behind our other featured space, Fricki's Attic. Fricki's Attic is a boutique showcasing Blended Teas, Unique Coffees, Finely Crafted Soaps and Scrubs, Arkansas Made Jewelry, Sculpture, Knives, and Woodwork. Fricki’s also features Men's Accessories such as rehabbed vintage Fedora Hats, Cufflinks, and uniquely patterned kerchiefs. Both Juniper's Back Door and Fricki's Attic are located at 131 Main Street. Kathy Covert Jensen
Saturday, December 7, 7 PM

Kathy Jensen cut her performing teeth at a lively, sing-along beach piano bar on the North Carolina coast. Although the “Oar House” was long ago, consigned to the sea by a hurricane, the songs and lessons learned there are still alive in her playing.

Over the years Kathy has delved into Blues, Boogie, Folk, Classic Rock, and Singer/Songwriter fare, as well as crafting her own songs derived from the people and places she’s lived.

After coming to Arkansas where her roots run deep, she has been a part of the Mountain View Folk scene, passing along the traditions in the Music Roots program there. She is excited to play at Juniper’s Speakeasy, pulling songs from the 1920s through the 2020s, tapping into the spirit of a Saturday night in a lively river town. Cheers!
